What this site collects
Short version: you can read the pages and use the finder without giving us anything. If you choose to leave contact details or start a conversation in the chat assistant, we keep what you share and, if you leave contact details, pass them to Arrivau, the licensed mortgage broker this site works with, to follow up.
The finder
The three-question finder is a decision table published in the page source and evaluated locally in your browser. Your selections are not transmitted to any server, not stored, not associated with you and not used to contact you. Reloading the page discards them.
What we collect if you reach out
Only what you choose to give us, through the consultation chat or an enquiry form:
- your name;
- contact details you enter yourself, such as an email address, phone number or WeChat ID;
- information about the loan you are asking about, such as purpose, amounts and timing;
- the content of your conversation in the chat assistant.
We also keep standard website visit statistics (see Server logs below).
What we use it for
- to reply to your enquiry;
- to pass it to Arrivau, the licensed mortgage broker this site works with, who follows up with you. Contact details are passed on only if you choose to leave them. This site is not itself a broker or a lender and does not give credit assistance;
- to review and improve the service.
The consultation chat
The consultation button loads a chat assistant hosted on chat.loanhub.au. If you
open it and send a message, that message is processed so the assistant can reply, and the
conversation is saved and may be reviewed or continued by a person. Do not send identity
documents, account numbers, tax file numbers or other sensitive personal information to a chat
assistant — on this site or any other.
Opening the chat is entirely your choice; if you do not, no conversation exists. On the simplified-Chinese pages the consultation button opens a WeChat customer-service conversation instead, handled the same way.
Server logs and visit statistics
The site is served as static files from a content delivery network. Like any web host, it records standard request information — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — for security and reliability, and aggregate visit statistics. Unless you also contact us, this is not linked to an identity.
Cookies and fonts
Pages are plain static files. Fonts are served from this domain rather than a third-party font service, so reading a page stays between you and this site.
Your rights, and how to use them
Australian privacy law gives you rights of access and correction over personal information an organisation holds about you. If you have left contact details or used the consultation chat and want to see, correct or remove that information, write to contact@loanhub.au with enough detail to identify it, and it will be dealt with.
The regulator is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au.
